The Agency Services Team, which is solely dedicated to work for the Intervention Board (IBEA) provides technical support, verification and supervision for an increasing number of government and EU schemes.

The schemes are administered by the Intervention Board and are directly related to EU Price Support arrangements and product controls.

The completely separate cadre of technical staff is strategically based throughout Great Britain and is co-ordinated and managed from from the Team's National Headquarters at Lutterworth.

A verification unit is based at the Lutterworth headquarters, which verifies, checks and collates all documentation appertaining to the schemes prior to dispatch to the Board by courier.

Also at the Lutterworth headquarters an Intervention Beef Team co-ordinate the logistics of the sale of Intervention beef. The Agency Services Sales Team liaise closely with purchasers, cold stores, processors and the Intervention Board.
